During a Walk Consult, we walk your dog’s regular neighbourhood route together and look more closely at what they are noticing, where pressure may be building and how the dog, person and environment are interacting.

A Walk Consult is designed to help you better understand what is happening during your everyday walks and explore practical adjustments that may make them feel more manageable.

It is not formal dog training or behaviour modification. If your dog has a history of serious aggression or significant bite risk, I may recommend support from a qualified behaviour professional.

We start by noticing what your dog is communicating, what you’re experiencing and what is happening around you.

Then we look at how the dog, the person and the environment may be shaping the walk.

From there, we explore practical adjustments to distance, pace, timing, positioning or route based on what we see together.
